Hot News 2005 March 15 AKIpress press center was disconnected from electricity during a press conference
Information agency AKI-press’ press center was disconnected from electricity, during a press conference. It happened 20 minutes after the press conference had started. At the time, the European Network officials were talking on violations observed during the second round of the Parliamentary elections – on 13 March 2005, in particular, about the voters facing pressure from local authorities. The Monitoring expert tried to find out reasons for the disconnection, but district power company officials refused to comment on the problem.
