Hot News 2005 March 15 An unknown individual beat a Vecherniy Bishkek reporter, Raisa Kamarli
Raisa Kamarli, a reporter with Vecherniy Bishkek newspaper, was attacked by a young unknown individual on the porch of her house. He hit her in the face, snatched her bag and ran out to the street. According to militia officers, the goal of the attack was to rob the journalist. They don’t exclude a possibility that the attacker followed his victim. The journalist was taken to the hospital with brain concussion.
