Hot News 2005 April 05 Radio Azattyk resumed broadcasting throughout the country
Kubanychbek Begaliyev, executive director of the RPO RMTR informed that an opposition radio Azattyk had resumed broadcasting. Since now on the Radio will be able to reach all people around the country through ultrashort waves, as it did till 24 February. On 24 February the radio broadcast was halted. The authorities announced an action to sell its frequencies. But Azattyk managed to rebroadcast its programmes through FM waves in Bishkek, Osh, Jalalabat and Naryn.
