New Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to the USA, who is chief editor for Respublika newspaper, plans to sue Ex-President of Kyrgyzstan Askar Akayev

Zamira Sadykova, chief editor for Respublika newspaper, plans to sue Askar Akayev, Ex-President of Kyrgyzstan. She was recently appointed as an Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to the USA. Sadykova informed that she filed a lawsuit against Akayev with the General Prosecutor’s Office, claiming that all the court orders delivered as a result of Akayev’s lawsuits were unlawful. “Akayev filed lawsuits against the paper, in an attempt to prove that he had no property, except for old car “Volga” and a flat in Bishkek,” she said. She also pointed that she was right in her articles, stating that the President and his family plundered the country.
