Adahan Madumarov said in his interview with MSN newspaper that the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe is ready to provide financial support to Kyrgyz independent media outlets. Vice Prime Minister Adahan Madumarov informed he had a meeting with the head of OSCE Information Department last week. “The organization is ready to help our independent media outlets get on to feet. Truly independent. The OSCE is likely to announce a contest for media outlets, and the winner will be those media outlets that correspond to the OSCE standards.” According to Madumarov, the OSCE also plans to set re-broadcasting transmitters for the distant regions to receive the signal without any obstacles. “I was recently entrusted to estimate the project with help of experts.” |
