Hot News 2005 June 15 Askar Akayev plans to file a lawsuit against MSN newspaper
Maxim Maximovich, official agent of Ex-President Akayev, plans to file a lawsuit against MSN newspaper and Ludmila Zholmukhamedova, a reporter with the paper. According to him, the lawsuit against the paper and the journalist is being prepared now. On May 27 Maximovich expressed his intentions to file the lawsuit at the press conference held by AKI-press information agency. The lawsuit is based on an article “Askar Akayev- mafia boss,” published in the paper on May 24. According to the lawyer, the article insulted the honor and dignity of the President.
