Hot News 2005 June, 17 Tape of the Government House seizure was destroyed
KOORT reporters were attacked by unidentified individuals, while covering protesters breaking in the Government House. The attackers grabbed the tape recording and threw it to the ground and then damaged it by feet. According to the shooting crew, Dmitriy Pavlov and Manat Sulaimanov, they covered the process of seizing the Government house and Prime Minister Usenov and Head of Human Rights Commission Akun talking to the protesters. The journalists underlined that unlawful actions were taken against no one else, but them.
