Hot News 2005 October 18 Osh Zhanyrygy reforms
An Osh Zhanyrygy staff reporter informed the editorial staff are regularly involved in scandals. Chief editor Abduvahab Moniyev began firing older journalists, since his appointment on 24 March, 2005. Then he decreased salaries of those who disagree on his policy. At first he reduced salary of all staff by 50%, except for designer and managers, that compile the text. The staffers had to report his action to the Labor Inspectorate in Osh region and Osh Regional Culture Trade Union. |
