Hot News 2005 November 01 Uzgen City Mayor, Mamatrasul Abakdjanov plans to sue Osh zhanyrygy newspaper
Editor of Osh zhanyrygy, Abdufahab Moniyev reported Uzgen City Mayor Mamatrasul Abakdjanov plans to file a lawsuit against Osh zhanyrygy newspaper. Journalist said the lawsuit will be based materials published in June edition of the paper, criticizing mayor’s activities. At the time, he prepares documents necessary for court proceedings. Moniyev said they have relevant arguments and evidence to fight back. It is not the first time after 24th March Revolution, the state officials threaten media outlets and journalists with legal actions. |
