Hot News 2004 November 9 Ruzi nav edition was seized in Dushanbe airport
On November 4, 2004 Ruzi nav edition was delivered from Bishkek (Kyrgyzstan), where it was published, to Dushanbe. Airport officers approached newspaper staff, while they were receiving cargo, and asked for their documents. As soon as they showed all documents requested, they were approached by tax police officers. The officers seized all copies of the newspaper, on the pretext that they brought more copies than recorded in the ship’s manifest. Radzhabi Mirzo said, while talking to a journalist for monitoring network, he will sue tax police for misconduct.
