Tajik journalists may get information about emergency situations only in a centralized manner

Tajik journalists may have information about emergency situations, that occurred in their country, only through one channel - the Ministry of Emergency Situations and Civil Defence’s press agency, an employee of Ministry’s Area Operative Headquarters in Kulyab, who wished to remain anonymous, reported.

It means that those journalists, who were accredited in the south of the country and other regions, were deprived of their right to receive information about the emergency events. Besides, the journalists mentioned that information, that was processed and prepared by the press agency, often lacks accuracy.
