Hot News 2005 July 15 The first court hearing of the lawsuit against Krim – info weekly took place in Dushanbe
The court hearing of the lawsuit filed by Suraie Urokova, a notary working for notarial office in Ismoili Somoni district against Krim – info weekly, took place on July 15 in Firdavsi district. The lawsuit was based on an article “Justice for veterans or long-lasting routine,” published in the paper on 19 May. The article claimed that retired woman Palageya Ponomaryova was swindled out of her own flat with help of the notary, by convincing her to sign a doubtful contract. Faizali Nozilov, a judge that presided over the case, summoned Lira Latypova, reporter with the paper, and Gulchegra Usmonova, chief editor for the paper, to show them the lawsuit.
