Hot News 2005 July 20 The General Prosecutor believes the Procuracy had proved Tolibov’s guilt
On 20 July, the General Prosecutor of the RT, Bobodjon Bobohonov, held a press conference for local and foreign journalists, presenting results of the work carried out by Prosecutor’s office and subordinate bodies during the first half of 2005. Talking to the journalists, he said that as long as Tolibov case documents were sent to the court, it’s necessary to wait for the formal results of the case consideration. Later he noted that Tolibov is not a professional journalist and the Procuracy proved his guilt. On July 11 Shahristan district court in Soghdy region held first hearings in the case against Tolibov. On 14 July Djurabek Sanginov, a judge that presided over the case, went on urgent business trip after announcing the next court hearings for 20 July 2005.
