July 21 Only one newspaper has been registered for 6 months in Tajikistan
The Ministry of Justice has registered only one newspaper for 6 months. It was a private newspaper, named Millat (Nation). Adolat Umarova, a founder of the newspaper, informed: “We have a goal to create a professional newspaper in state language.” Nonetheless, Hamidov, the Minister of Justice said the Ministry has registered 41 legal entities and physical person, whose documents allow them to publish news outlets. Six more entities that were registered by the state bodies, plan to launch their own TV and radio channels.
