Hot News 2005 August 1 Media Alliance of Tajikistan was founded
On July 30, “Media Alliance of Tajikistan” Journalists Republican Association held a founding conference on July 30. The conference adopted a charter to foster development of freedom of expression, democracy, media independence and plurality, to form a culture of fair and free journalism, solidarity among journalists, constructive dialogue between journalists and the authorities. Over 35 journalists from different regions, as Soghdiy, Kurgantube and Kulyab areas, and Rasht and Gissar valleys were founders of the Media Alliance. |
