Hot News 2005 October 22 The School of TV Journalism has been opened in Dushanbe
On October 19, 2005, the TV Journalism School has been officially opened. The school was established by the PA “Homa/Pero” and OSCE Center in Dushanbe. Shahlo Akobirova, project director said “the idea to create the school is caused by new private TV channels, that began operating, and their demand for qualified specialists.” Fourteen journalists, representing different regions of the country, were enrolled to the school. Experienced lecturers would be teaching the young journalists basics of the modern TV journalism. The lecturers are those journalists, who have a long work experience in international journalism and TV channels.
